According to NFL.com, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones will play in Thursday night's game vs the New Orleans Saints, but the Falcons will limit his snap count. Jones is dealing with a hamstring injury that noticeably hampered his ability to make plays against the Washington Redskins last week.
When asked if he would for sure play Thursday night, Jones told NFL Media's Tiffany Blackmon,"My leg is going to have to be off or something for me not to play." With that kind of confidence, fantasy owners shouldn't worry about Jones not suiting up against the Saints.
A legitimate worry, however, might be that the Falcons utilize Devonta Freeman and the run game more because Jones will be on a snap count. While that scenario may indeed play out, Jones owners still need to play him Thursday night. Jones is a top-three wide receiver and has a great matchup against a soft Saints defense. Limit your expectations for Jones this week, but he's still a must-start in all leagues.
