Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones may be on a snap count against the New Orleans Saints due to a hamstring injury. He is, however, expected to play on Thursday night.
"My leg is going to have to be off or something for me not to play," Jones told NFL Network's Tiffany Blackmon.
Even if he's on a pitch count, Jones is a WR1 against a bad Saints defense. Quarterback Matt Ryan loves throwing the ball to Jones and will target him a ton regardless if Jones plays 30 snaps or 80 snaps. However, if Jones is on a pitch count it does raise Leonard Hankerson to WR2 status.
Tight end Jacob Tamme will also see a big increase in targets if Jones is on a pitch count. Against a poor Saints defense, Tamme can be considered a decent TE2.
