BALLER MOVE: Add in All PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 19% of Yahoo Leagues
ANALYSIS: JuJu Smith-Schuster made a name for himself off the field last week, becoming a twitter legend for the highly publicized case of his missing bike. This week, he made a name for himself on the field. JuJu had seven receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets, with most of them coming on a wild 97 yard touchdown.
JuJu had been gaining traction over the past few weeks. The youngest player in the NFL slowly began cutting into Martavis Bryant's workload, much to Bryant's dismay. Bryant was suspended for calling out JuJu and the Steelers on Instagram, allowing JuJu to step in and have his big day.
Take away the big play and JuJu still had a solid fantasy day: six receptions on nine targets for 96 yards. Before this week, he had at least 30 yards in each of his last six games and scored two touchdowns during that stretch. Not bad for the third wide receiver playing behind one of the most dominant receivers in the NFL.
I doubt that the Steelers can mend their relationship with Bryant. He'll either be traded or benched. The job is JuJu's to lose. He should be added in all PPR formats and is even consideration for owners in need of WR depth in standard leagues. The Steelers are on bye this week, but JuJu will be a FLEX play moving forward with WR2 upside assuming he keeps the job.
