BALLER MOVE: Start in 16+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: On Thursday, Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley said "Competition for carries is going to be something that you can see happening." With running back Austin Ekeler struggling in all facets, Joshua Kelley could begin to see more chances in the passing and running game.
Last week, Kelley surprisedly played 43% of the Chargers' offensive snaps, which marked his most with Ekeler in the lineup since Week 1. The 26-year-old back didn't do much with his opportunities, though, rushing just six times for 16 yards and catching two passes for nine yards. But the unexpected rise in snaps could be a sign of what's to come for this offense, going hand in hand with Staley's comments.
However, it might be hard to fully trust Kelley in this offense. The matchup is great against a Denver Broncos defense that allows the most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. But even if the Chargers go to a more 50/50 split backfield, he should only be started in 16-plus team leagues.
