BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 15% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The once highly touted prospect seems to have made a serious step forward for the 2023 season. Success in the minor leagues was never a problem for the speedy outfielder, but in his stints in the Major Leagues prior to this year, he struggled immensely to make contact. Strikeout rates above 30% hampered him and kept him away from a consistent starting job in the Majors.
This year, however, he is making contact at a much higher rate.
That has propelled him to a ripping start with a strikeout rate below 17% and a batting average above .350 while he's also clubbed three homers. That puts him on base a ton, which allows him to use his speed to steal bases at a very high rate. His defensive prowess will keep him in the lineup so long as he's hitting decently well, which he is so far. It's been an exciting start to the season for the 25-year-old, and the fantasy ceiling is quite high - a 20-20 season is within reach, and he's widely available in fantasy leagues.
