ANALYSIS: If Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs is still on waivers in your league, you should first be thrilled that you have a chance to add a stud playmaker and, second, immediately put in a claim for him. He's a fantastic receiver, and his game is perfect for fantasy PPR scoring formats.

While lead quarterback Anthony Richardson's inaccuracy will likely cap Downs' upside with his return to play, the second-year-pro receiver is an excellent separator and typically plays from the slot, providing him softer coverage against defensive backs with less experience and skill. He's also a great chain-mover.
He's extremely reliable at generating separation on short and intermediate routes, setting him up for a role as a target hog and semi-PPR-scam player (he actually does something with his receptions, don't worry). He's now had three straight games of 15+ PPR fantasy points. There's no reason he should be on waivers.
