BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs is a great pass-catcher. We could rave about his route-running prowess, short-area quickness and dominance from the slot, but we're recommending you sit him, so we won't. This is because his current starting quarterback, Anthony Richardson, has played terribly in 2024.
I truly don’t understand why the Colts won’t allow Anthony Richardson to develop behind Joe Flacco. So many great quarterbacks have sat for a year if not YEARS before going on to have great careers smh. pic.twitter.com/a1pQSSa5Y4

It's really, really awful. The passing displays he puts on aren't good. We do have charts to give a better visual representation of what we think when we watch him play.

The chart-busters on the bad side of the charts are not what you want. Downs excels in horizontal-breaking routes and Richardson just can't hit him so far this season.

He could improve, but until he fixes his problems, he should continue to struggle. As depressing as it is to say, you should sit Downs for the time being.
