One of the hardest decisions fantasy managers will have to make during their fantasy draft is when the right time to grab a quarterback is. Some will say waiting for a quarterback is the right strategy, while others will say grabbing one of the top quarterbacks is important.
If you're one of those fantasy managers who always wants one of the top quarterbacks in fantasy, this article could be a great help. We will look at Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, and Patrick Mahomes' fantasy value in 2024.

Josh Allen 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Allen has been the best fantasy quarterback over the past couple of seasons, as he has finished number one overall in three of the past four years (2020, 2021, and 2023). Last season, He totaled a career-high 410.6 fantasy points while combining for 4,830 yards (passing and rushing) and totaling 44 touchdowns.

Even though Allen lost both Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis this offseason, that shouldn't matter too much to his fantasy value. He still has weapons around him to throw to, including Dalton Kincaid, rookie Keon Coleman, and Curtis Samuel. His rushing also makes him a cheat code in fantasy, so he's a strong pick at the top of drafts again in 2024.
Jalen Hurts 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Like Allen, Hurts has been a strong fantasy option at the position over the past few years. He finished as the QB3 in 2022 and as the QB2 last season. In 2023, Hurts averaged 21.9 fantasy points per game while combining for 4,463 yards (passing and rushing) and 38 total touchdowns.
There's no reason why Hurts can't repeat his top-two fantasy finish in 2024, considering his rushing upside. He has totaled double-digit rushing touchdowns in three straight seasons. With two elite receivers in the passing game as well (A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith), there isn't much holding back the Eagles quarterback from finishing even higher in fantasy this season.
Patrick Mahomes 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Mahomes is coming off the worst fantasy season of his career in 2023 after finishing as the QB8 and averaging just 18.4 fantasy points per game. Those managers who drafted the Chiefs quarterback early in last year's drafts likely regretted the pick all throughout the season.

Nevertheless, a lot has changed for Mahomes since then. The Chiefs signed Marquise Brown in free agency and added Xavier Worthy in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. So, the All-Pro quarterback will have more weapons in the passing game this year. So, don't be surprised if he shocks us all again this upcoming season and finishes at the top.
Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?
Fantasy managers can't go wrong with any of these options in drafts this summer. However, Allen should definitely be drafted over Hurts and Mahomes in fantasy. The Bills quarterback has finished top two at the position in four straight years, and chances are he'll make it five straight after the 2024 season.
