BALLER MOVE: Add in NL-Only Leagues
OWNED IN: 24% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Now that we know that Jose Reyes's suspension is up at the beginning of June, owners should check in to their league to see if they can grab him at bargain value before he latches on to another team and gets everyday playing time. Reyes' time in Colorado appears to be over after the ascent of Trevor Story, so a move out of Colorado not only seems imminent but beneficial for all parties involved.
Sure, Reyes is not the player he once was, but he can give prospective teams double-digit steals while batting around .290. He can still resemble the solid player that he has been throughout his career when he hasn't been injured. Reyes has an impressive average of 10.4 K% and a 6.9 BB% for his career. He has an overall positive WAR ranking and a 105 wRC+ per season average, which is nothing to sniff at for several teams in need of his services.
For now, Reyes probably does not have a ton of leeway when it comes to his destination so his highest value is a deep league stash right now. Wherever he lands, he is sure to get a significant amount of playing time, especially if he ends up on a contending team looking for a spark plug like Reyes.
