BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 14% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: New York Mets starting pitcher Jose Quintana has pitched well as of late, making him a potential add in most 14-plus team leagues ahead of Week 15 (July 1 to July 7). Quintana's overall numbers this season are not the best, as he currently owns a 4.57 ERA across 16 starts. The left-hander has also failed to pitch into the sixth inning eight times in 2024.
However, Quintana has allowed just two runs or less in three straight outings and owns a 1.65 ERA during that span. In his most recent start against the Houston Astros, the veteran gave up two runs on six hits with three walks and seven strikeouts across four innings.

Quintana is likely not a long-term add in most formats. However, he could be a great streaming option in the right matchup. With the southpaw lined up to face the Washington Nationals in Week 15, the 35-year-old could be a solid pickup in 14-plus team leagues. Last season, the left-hander pitched seven innings of one-run ball against the Nationals in September.
