BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues

ANALYSIS: Fantasy owners are unlikely to have forgotten how poorly Jose Berrios performed as a rookie. The 22-year-old posted ghastly ratios (8.02 ERA, 1.87 WHIP) over 14 starts, in which he averaged just over four innings per. Berrios struggled in all facets of the game; he had serious issues finding the strike zone, and when he did, hitters teed off. As debuts go, there have been few worse. However, Berrios clearly has nothing left to prove in the minors, as he's run a 1.13 ERA, 0.81 WHIP, and 4.9 K/BB through six starts at Triple-A this year.
The Twins will throw him immediately into the fire against the defending AL champion Indians on Saturday. Not the ideal matchup, to be sure. But despite his struggles in 2016, Berrios remains one of the game's top pitching prospects, and deserves consideration in all formats.
