Jordan Reed has been a touchdown machine for the Washington Redskins over the last three games. During that span, Reed has totaled 17 catches, five touchdowns and 41.9 fantasy points. The Redskins’ offense is still pretty inept despite that 47-point outburst last week.
The New Orleans Saints defense is awful, so every big outing against them should come with an asterisk. Either way, Reed has been the most consistent Redskin in terms of fantasy value, and he’s being used frequently in the red zone.
The Oakland Raiders are absolutely abysmal when it comes to defending the tight end, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see Detroit’s Eric Ebron score 80 points against them this week. Ebron isn’t lighting it up for fantasy owners this year, but he’s still averaging four receptions per game over the last three weeks.
Also, the Raiders rank dead last in defending opposing tight ends, and they would’ve given up two touchdowns to Minnesota’s tight ends last week had Kyle Rudolph not dropped an easy touchdown in the endzone.
Tyler Eifter had an awful game Monday night against the Houston Texans, but he was a still a target machine. Eifert has averaged seven targets over his last three weeks, and he leads the Cincinnati Bengals with nine receiving touchdowns this year.
The Arizona Cardinals won’t be the easiest matchup for Eifert, but with most of the attention focused on A.J. Green, and having to come back from an emotional matchup against the Seattle Seahawks last week, look for Eifert to find some success against Arizona Sunday night.
After his breakout game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 where he scored twice, Travis Kelce has only found the endzone one time since. Kelce is still averaging more than seven fantasy points per game this season, but the production hasn’t been there on a consistent basis.
Still, Kelce is in for a favorable matchup against the San Diego Chargers who have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. The Chargers have allowed 16 receiving touchdowns this year, and Kelce has a good chance of reaching pay dirt against them.
