BALLER MOVE: Start in 8+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB1
ANALYSIS: Jordan Love had a terrific 2023 season, earned a massive contract extension, and has even started to get some hype in analysts' MVP predictions. After passing for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions last year, it's safe to say that Love is trending up.
It's also exciting that Love has a healthy group of weapons around him. Green Bay might have the deepest wide receiver room with the likes of Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks. Josh Jacobs should also command plenty of targets while Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave hold down the tight end position. If Love wants to spread the ball around, he should do so with ease.

This week, Love faces a Philadelphia Eagles defense that was porous against the pass last year. In 2023, the Eagles allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, and they were less than three points away from allowing the most. The unit surrendered 4,551 yards and 35 touchdowns through the air while picking off just nine passes.
The Eagles did address their secondary during the offseason, but it's still not one of the NFL's best rooms. This Philadelphia defense should rank in the bottom half of the league this year and remains susceptible to allowing a big game from Love. With his own talent, plenty of weapons at his disposal, and a favorable matchup on tap, Love can be trusted as a low-end QB1.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically.
