BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Jordan Addison is the WR12 for the year, averaging 12.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The rookie wide receiver has been a consistent starting option for fantasy players, scoring double-digit fantasy points in all but one of his first eight career contests. Unfortunately, Kirk Cousins suffered a torn Achilles in Week 8. Over the past two weeks, the former USC star hasn’t been as productive with Joshua Dobbs under center.
Last week, Addison had four receptions on seven targets for 69 receiving yards, scoring 8.9 fantasy points against the New Orleans Saints. However, the rookie wide receiver has been the clear-cut No. 2 option for Dobbs. Over the past two weeks, the former USC star has 14 targets. By comparison, T.J. Hockenson had 12 targets in Week 9 and 15 in Week 10.
More importantly, Justin Jefferson could return Sunday night after missing five games with a hamstring injury. Before getting hurt, the superstar wide receiver averaged 11.8 targets per game in his four healthy contests, totaling 12 or more three times. Unfortunately, Jefferson’s return will mean fewer targets for Addison.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings face the Denver Broncos in Week 11. Denver has held wide receivers to 26.1 fantasy points per game, slightly below the league average. However, they have given up only 18.2 fantasy points per game to wide receivers over their past five contests.
