Jonnu Smith fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 3 (2024). Should you start or sit Jonnu Smith for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE2
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith had a nice bounce-back effort in Week 2 as he caught six of his seven targets for 53 yards.
This was a significant improvement based on the lone catch he had in his Miami debut the week before.
The veteran tight end will be hard to trust on weekly basis given the elite playmakers in the Miami passing attack that draw a lot of targets. Although, with Skylar Thompson expected to start this weekend, Smith may become a safety valve in the middle of the field and could produce a solid stat line.
Confession: I wasn’t sure how good TE Jonnu Smith would be in the #Dolphins system. After watching him in camp, I think they’ve definitely got themselves a real weapon that adds a whole new dimension to their offense. He’s going to be a difference-maker.

However, given his mediocre Week 1 debut, Smith should only be started in deeper formats for now as a TE2 until he shows enough consistency.
