BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 40% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: When playing on the same team as Manny Machado, Chris Davis, and Mark Trumbo, it is understandable that Jonathan Schoop's power may go unnoticed. So far in 207 AB, Jonathan Schoop has a mediocre .261 AVG and .290 OBP, but he is slugging .440 with eight HR. Schoop puts the ball in play 70% of the time and has been connecting for an XBH percentage of 9.2%. Schoop also has some pretty clear splits in which his use is optimal. For instance, he is currently slugging .356 against LHP, but he is slugging .463 against righties. Also, he currently has a .250/.258/.398 slash line on the road, but he is hitting .269/.313/.471 when playing in Camden Yards. In the month of May, Schoop had a slash line of .298/.308/.481 and four HR. To start off June, he has an OPS of just .641, but that is in a limited sample size of 25 AB. Don't be frightened, Schoop is hitting with solid power in a top ten offense.
