ANALYSIS: The best-case scenario for Joe Ingles fantasy GMs and those seeking his rostership would be to have February-Ingles in their rosters. Joe had his best span of the season from Feb. 5 to Feb. 27 when he went on to average almost 30 FP per game in 12 outings. He started the year slow, caught fuego, then dropped his numbers a bit before the break but he seems to be back at it entering the home stretch of the season.
In the first four games after the break and through last Thursday, Ingles has put up a 16-4-3 line with a stock per game on top of that. Ingles is back at shooting magnificently, with a FG% above 63 percent in his last five and a true shooting percentage of 84% in that same span. That, folks, is no joke. In fact, in the 2021 season as a whole, Ingles has the highest TS% among all players shooting 7+ FGA per game at 72%.
Ingles will give you points, rebounds, some dimes, incredible shooting percentages for the position, and most importantly: triples in bunches. Ingles has hit at least 2 treys in all of his last five games, with two matches hitting 4 and an absolutely glorious outing against Washington last Thursday in which he dropped 8 treys on the Wiz. He started that latter game after being on the bench the prior five, but whether he starts or not for the Jazz he will still keep playing his 26-to-31 minutes nighly.
