ANALYSIS: After a 2015 season that lacked stability and consistency, Jimmy Nelson remains a tough puzzle to solve. He began his season with what remains his best start of the year, but after three consecutive quality starts, he had his worst start of the season on Wednesday night.
Nelson will begin his week at Wrigley Field, taking on the first-place Cubs. While it looks like a daunting task, Nelson actually pitched quite well against the Cubs last year. In three starts, he gave up six total runs, striking out an impressive 25 batters in 20 innings. His second start will be back at home against the Marlins and Tom Koehler. Nelson has been given a team-best 5.50 runs per start, so fantasy managers can feel comfortable rolling the dice on him.
