BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin has been particularly hot as of late and the city of Chicago is happy not to see him this week. In two of his last three starts, Chacin pitched a combined 11 2/3 innings of shutout baseball, with 12 strikeouts, against both the Cubs and White Sox.
The Pirates, one of the two teams that Chacin will face this week, saw Chacin on May 5th of this year and Chacin allowed one earned run in six innings, striking out four times. Unfortunately, for Chacin, the Cardinals, who he will face in his second start, did not struggle as much as Pittsburgh did this year against the righty. In two combined outings, Chacin allowed six earned runs in 10 1/3 innings of work (5.23 ERA) and struck out six batters.
The main reason for Chacin’s appearance on this list for Week 12 is the recent performances. He has struck out at least five batters in six of the last seven starts (seven K’s in back-to-back games) and he has shutout his opponent in three of the last five outings.
