BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 16% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Jesse Winker looked to be in danger of losing playing time after an atrocious showing during the month of May, but ever since the calendar flipped to June, he's been one of the hottest hitters in baseball. The sophomore (he just barely cleared 130 plate appearances last season, so he's not technically a rookie) has posted a blistering .333/.453/.540 line in that span, with five home runs and 35 R+BI. He's also walked more than he's struck out, but the most encouraging sign is the power he's flashed recently. That's always been the knock on Winker, and while he plays half his games in a park where his pop should play up, this is the first time he's delivered on that potential. Given his advanced approach at the plate, any improvement there makes him immediately intriguing in fantasy circles. He remains unowned in six out of every seven leagues at the moment and has definitely earned a look in most formats.
