ANALYSIS: Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had high expectations this year after a solid 2022 season. Unfortunately, he has had an awful year. Jeudy is the WR57 for the season, averaging 6.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran has scored more than 8.9 fantasy points in 83.3% of the games, including zero over the past six weeks.
Last week, Jeudy had several opportunities to have a massive performance. He had multiple plays that could have resulted in fantasy points but failed to make the play. The former Alabama star ended Week 14 with only 2.6 fantasy points in the win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Some believe Jeudy will have a bounce-back performance tonight against the Detroit Lions. The NFC North division leaders have surrendered 1.6 receiving touchdowns and 35.5 fantasy points per game to wide receivers since their Week 9 bye.
Despite the appealing matchup, fantasy players should avoid starting Jeudy this week. He has been far too inconsistent to trust during the fantasy football playoffs.
