ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford returned to practice today after missing yesterday’s practice with a knee injury. The former Cincinnati star is the team’s No. 1 running back until Nick Chubb can return from a significant knee injury he suffered last year.

Ford is the RB26 over the first three weeks, averaging 10.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. However, he has scored 8.5 or fewer fantasy points in every game since Week 1. The veteran has struggled with the Browns using a beat-up offensive line, averaging 3.7 yards per rushing attempt in two contests this season.
However, fantasy players should expect a big performance from Ford in Week 3. He faces a Las Vegas Raiders defense that has had no answers for opposing running backs. They have surrendered 26.8 fantasy points per game to running backs, the second-most in the NFL. Furthermore, the Raiders have given up at least 106 rushing yards and touchdowns to running backs in every contest.
