BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford is the presumptive RB1 for the team in the absence of Nick Chubb, and he's the most efficient Browns RB, but he had significant work taken away by fellow RB D'Onta Foreman in Week 2. This happening in a close game is alarming for Ford's prospects.

Ford has excellent burst and speed, but it's possible the Browns preferred to give Foreman more touches because he has the power that Ford lacks. The Browns could view Ford's best role as the high-efficiency, lower-volume back who can create chunk plays but isn't ideal to use in short-yardage situations and goal-line scenarios.
To make matters worse, the Browns started Week 2 with a three-way committee between Ford, Foreman, and Pierre Strong Jr. This is a pretty gross split, and limits the upside of all three. Strong Jr. left the game with an injury and hasn't practiced since, so he is likely to miss Week 3 though.
For now, Ford is a decent FLEX option, but after catching six passes in Week 1, he was only targeted twice in Week 2, limiting his PPR upside severely. His production will depend mainly on rushing and target volume, so he's a boom-or-bust start with a limited ceiling due to Foreman's involvement.
