ANALYSIS: With Nick Chubb (knee) starting the season on the PUP list and the Browns cutting ties with D'Onta Foreman, Jerome Ford is in the driver's seat to lead the Cleveland backfield for most of the season.
The 24-year-old took the lead in the backfield after Chubb suffered a season-ending knee injury in late September of last season and finished as the No. 16 running back in PPR scoring last season with 813 rushing yards, 319 receiving yards, and nine total scores.
Ford remained quite steady in his first season as the starting running back averaging 12.4 PPR points per game with a handful of spike weeks including a big 26-point game in Week 17.
Given his current ADP, the Cincinnati product is a great pick for zero-RB drafters as you could fill out your other positions and still find a starting running back later in the draft. In addition, if Chubb needs more time to recover from his injury, Ford could see a consistent amount of touches for the majority of the season.

While he may not have the upside as other running backs, he is a "high-floor" investment in drafts and will be a stable RB2/flex play all season given the current state of the Browns running back room.
