ANALYSIS: Nick Chubb (knee) is out for the season after suffering a gruesome knee injury on Monday Night Football. It's unfortunate, but fantasy managers have to adjust.
Jerome Ford now becomes a premier waiver wire add in leagues of all shapes and sizes. Against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the second-year running back rushed 16 times for 106 yards and caught three passes for 25 yards and one touchdown. Cleveland will likely continue to establish its run game while Deshaun Watson's struggles continue, so Ford has RB1 upside moving forward.
Even though the Browns are set to play the Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, and San Francisco 49ers, who all have stud run defenses, Ford will have plenty of fantasy value as long as the team doesn't add a high-end veteran running back over the next few weeks.
Fantasy managers who drafted a Zero-RB team should consider spending a large chunk of their FAAB (free agent acquisition budget) or using their high waiver claim on him this week.
