Jeremy Hill played 35 snaps to Giovani Bernard's 25 snaps in the Cincinnati Bengals Week 6 win over the Buffalo Bills. That's quite a difference from Week 5 when Bernard had three-times as many snaps as Hill.
Both Bernard and Hill can be considered RB2's going forward. Bernard actually has more fantasy value than Hill in PPR leagues because he is frequently used by quarterback Andy Dalton in the passing game. However, Hill is the team's short-yardage back and usually gets the nod when the team is in the red zone.
Which running back will receive the most snaps will likely be determined on a game-to-game basis. If the Bengals are forced to pass more, Bernard will likely see the most snaps. Likewise, if the team has a more run-centric gameplan, Hill should see more snaps. But one thing is clear, the Bengals will continue to use both backs quite frequently.
