BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues
ANALYSIS: There are three certain things in Brooklyn these days: Kyrie Irving, James Harden, and Kevin Durant, who are starting every game. If you push it a bit, there is a fourth: DeAndre Jordan, based-washed-center. The remaining starting spot is up for grabs, and the fight is currently taking place between Joe Harris and Jeff Green. The former seems to have taken hold of the slot, though Green did so earlier this month.
No matter what, both Green and Harris will keep their upsides up going forward and as part of this new Big Three. Whether you like those upsides or not, that's up to you to judge. Green (and Harris) won't have top-tier usages, nor opportunities in terms of volume. What they will enjoy are high-end chances in terms of spacing and clear-cut openings to throw the rock through the rim, whether attacking the basket or shooting from the floor.
With all of the defensive attention put on KD/Kyrie/Harden, Green will find himself open a ton of times. That's why Green is shooting 57.5 percent from the floor since Harden's arrival on just 7.5 FGA, and why he's hit 17 treys in just 7 games, averaging two a night. Green has yet to fall below 10 points in a single game since Jan. 13, keeps playing at least 26 MPG, and his usage rates seem to have stabilized at around 14%, not bath for a fourth/fifth option. Deep-league target, but one as efficient as they come.
