BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 32% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: After two consecutive seasons of diminishing returns from the bearded one in Washington, Jayson Werth has sprung back to life. His 10 HR and 40 RBI have nearly matched last year's totals in an injury-plagued season. His .436 SLG is not much above league average, but Werth is making the most of his chances. Werth has been prone to streaks this season and has now gone 18 games without a HR after having hit five in an eight-game span. His slump has coincided with a five-game losing streak by the Nationals in which the offense disappeared. When he starts to come around again, he will make a great streaming option. Werth isn't contributing significantly higher than his career averages, but for somebody who has hit over 20 HR five different times and 80+ RBI four times, that's nothing to sneeze at. Werth can be added in deep leagues right now as an extra outfield option, but most owners will start adding him when he heats up again.
