BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-Plus Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end WR3
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Jayden Reed set new career-high marks in targets and receptions last week against the New York Giants, with the ball coming Reed's way 10 times. He caught eight of those passes, but only managed 27 yards.
That's been a trend with Reed over the last month. He's finished with under 10 yards per reception in three consecutive games, including averaging under five yards per reception in the past two games.
At this point, Reed's a bit of a fantasy conundrum. The volume he's been getting definitely makes him an appealing WR3 in full PPR leagues, but the lack of yardage makes it tougher to trust him in half-PPR and standard.
If there's a week for Reed to have a breakout game though, it's this Sunday when he faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs have allowed the third-most passing yards per game in the NFL this season and with Packers quarterback Jordan Love playing well recently, there's a good chance that Reed surpasses the 50-yard mark for the first time since Nov. 12, when he had five catches for 84 yards and a score against the Steelers.
