BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has been targeted five or more times in four consecutive games as quarterback Jordan Love has worked to get the rookie second-round pick more involved in the Packers offense.
Last week, those five targets turned into four receptions, but Reed finished with 16 yards, his second-lowest amount of the season. Still, the usage itself was encouraging, even if it didn't turn into a lot of production.
This week, the Packers take on the New York Giants, who allow the 13th-most passing yards per game of any NFL team. It's not a great matchup, but it also isn't a bad one for a Packers passing attack that has shown great improvement over the last month of the season, especially if you look only at more recent weeks when the Giants have struggled more against the pass.
Heading into this Week 14 matchup, Jayden Reed should be viewed as a low-end WR3 option. There's upside based on his recent usage, but he hasn't reached a point yet where fantasy managers can consistently count on Reed to produce big numbers.
