BALLER MOVE: Target Around Pick 70 Overall in PPR Leagues
CURRENT ADP: 81 Overall (QB11)
ANALYSIS: The Washington Commanders were one of the busiest, most productive teams this offseason. They made plenty of roster and staff shakeups, including the selection of LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 overall pick.
There are very few NFL quarterbacks with more pure athleticism than Daniels. He was the fastest quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft and has also shown that he can be a prolific passer, completing 72.2 percent of his throws for 40 touchdowns and four interceptions during his final collegiate campaign.
Thanks to his legs, Daniels compares best to Lamar Jackson and Anthony Richardson. He's not quite as fast as Jackson, but he has a better collegiate track record and a better arm. His floor is likely in the Richardson range, but there's optimism that he'll fare better than the Indianapolis Colts' quarterback in terms of limiting turnovers and staying healthy.
Daniels' rushing ability makes him almost a surefire top-12 quarterback, and his ceiling is in the top-five range. He's an incredible value at his current price tag and is wrongly being drafted later than the likes of Richardson, Joe Burrow, and Dak Prescott.
Jayden Daniels
Only QB in FBS history with
- 12,000+ pass yards
- 3,000+ rush yardsAveraged 90+ rush yards per game in final two seasons at LSU.
Cheapest ELITE rushing QB in drafts.
Great supporting cast in WAS.
MUST DRAFT MY Guy Jay D.
