BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Another day, another instance of "Man, this guy would be really good with less target competition." Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has carved out a nice, yet inconsistent, role in his offense. The presence of both WRs Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf creates a lot of competition for targets.

He won't ascend to WR2 range as long as Lockett is on the field, and even then, with running back Kenneth Walker III earning more targets as the season progresses, it could be difficult. He'll have his boom games, but the single-digit outings could be just as common, and consistency matters in fantasy football.
It's better for the offense to have more receivers that can beat coverage and get open, and offensive coordinators don't care about players' fantasy outputs. Smith-Njigba isn't an alpha X receiver like Metcalf is, so he won't be the first priority in the passing game without other receivers getting injured.

His role really hasn't changed much since 2023. Seattle seems to be happy with how their passing work is split up. He'll remain a WR3/FLEX in PPR for now.
