BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ TeamLeagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Backend RB2/Flex Play
ANALYSIS: Williams has struggled so far in 2024. He’s only averaging 3.2 yards per carry and has yet to find the endzone. However, he is coming off his best game of the season this past week during an upset victory over the New York Jets. Williams carried the rock 16 times for 77 yards.
Look at the seal from Palcewski, Quinn working to the second level, and the finish from Javonte Williams.

That’s not the most impressive stat line, but it might be exactly what Williams needed to get rolling. Denver has a home matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5. It’s a good draw for the Broncos' rushing offense, as the Raiders allow the ninth-most rushing yards per game and surrender the eighth-most PPR points per game to opposing running backs.
This is a good spot for Denver to rely heavily on their ground game to protect rookie quarterback Bo Nix. That should mean a healthy dose of Williams, and this is a matchup where he should find success.
Gamers can feel comfortable starting Williams as a flex play or an RB2 in a pinch. He could improve upon last week’s performance and might even find paydirt for the first time this year.

Brandon Aiyuk - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Start POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2/WR3 with upside ANALYSIS: Fantasy managers of San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk are tired of hearing the "Jeopardy!" music playing in their heads constantly. Aiyuk has had plenty of chances to get it going but hasn't been able to, for whatever reason. It can't feel good to see […]
Tee Higgins - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Start POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2/WR3 ANALYSIS: Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is a good receiver on a good offense with a good quarterback. Sometimes it's that simple. He'll play a tough Baltimore Ravens defense in Week 5, but that shouldn't deter fantasy managers. The Higgins-Joe Burrow combo can have a good game against […]
D'Andre Swift - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Start POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Flex ANALYSIS: Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift finally had a good game in 2024. He's not a good running back, though. Luckily for him, he gets to face the Carolina Panthers, who have an awful run defense. They lost their best run defender, defensive tackle Derrick Brown, who was […]
Justice Hill - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4 ANALYSIS: Always starting players after big games without reading into the context of what happened is a way to get bad or at best inconsistent, fantasy production. Justice Hill benefited from a positive game script in the blowout of the Buffalo Bills in Week 4, and it's hard to […]
Devin Singletary - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4 ANALYSIS: It looks like New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is set to miss the Week 5 game against the Seattle Seahawks, who boast a good defense (when healthy). This is terrible news. New York doesn't have much of an offense without Nabers, and none of its receivers […]
