ANALYSIS: The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver room underwent some unexpected changes when star wideout Brandon Aiyuk was lost for the season, paving the way for the emergence of Jauan Jennings.
However, Jennings suffered a hip injury, didn't practice all week, and was ruled out of the 49ers Week 8 contest on Sunday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys.

Jennings should have a sizeable role in this offense when the team plays again in Week 10 following their bye week. Running back Christian McCaffrey has a good chance of returning, and this offense could be firing on all cylinders again despite losing Aiyuk.
No one should forget Jenning's career game in Week 3 against the Rams, in which he saw 12 targets and finished with 11 receptions for 175 yards and three touchdowns. He remains a priority add wherever he is available.
