ANALYSIS: Jauan Jennings missed Week 7's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with a hip injury. In an unfortunate turn of events, he may be one of the only healthy San Francisco weapons in Week 8.
Brandon Aiyuk's season is over. He tore his ACL and MCL on Sunday. Deebo Samuel Sr. was diagnosed with pneumonia. There's no timetable for his return. Tight end George Kittle is day-to-day with a foot sprain. Christian McCaffrey remains sidelined.
Jennings could be, by default, the top option for Brock Purdy when the 49ers face the Dallas Cowboys. With Samuel inactive in Week 3, Jennings exploded for 11 catches, 175 yards, and three touchdowns. In the Super Bowl, he caught four passes and a touchdown and threw another. Jennings has gotten it done at the highest level when called upon. He's third in yards per route run this season.

There's a non-zero chance that fantasy managers will blow a significant FAAB chunk, and he will miss another game with his hip ailment. This addition could help this week but will help the rest of the season. Jennings will be in the weekly WR3/flex conversation.
