BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 34% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Indians infielder Jason Kipnis is a veteran showing signs of a turnaround after an abjectly awful start. Over the last two weeks, Kipnis has hit .313/.353/.563 with three homers and a pair of stolen bases.
Over the last month, Kipnis has a 35% hard hit ball rate and just a 38% ground ball rate, which would show that his .260 BABIP is a bit unlucky. He has a hit in four of his last six games, including two multi-hit games, tallying eight extra-base hits over the last month. Posting just a 15% soft hit ball rate over the last month, it is fair to say that Kipnis has turned his season around.
While his strong performance has not been enough for him to reclaim the #2 spot in the Cleveland order, mainly batting sixth or seventh, the Tribe’s offense is high-powered enough to keep his run production respectable even in the lower half of the lineup.
