BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues (14+ Teams)
ANALYSIS: The Kansas City Royals have been holding on tight to their 50th round investment in the 2006 draft, but was it all worth it in hindsight? After all these years, Jarrod Dyson, the Royals' veteran 4th outfielder is finally getting enough MLB at bats to have a fantasy impact, albeit mostly with his legs. He is just about to reach the 30 steals mark for the third straight reason and it's not hard to see why the Royals management loves him. For fantasy purposes, he is best used as "waiver wire rabbit", which in english means he should only be relied upon for his speed. Since steals only help out in 1 out of 5 offensive categories (for most roto leagues), and his non-guaranteed full time at bats don't help his case, we only strongly recommend him in extremely deep mixed leagues (14 teams or more), deep mixed leagues with 5 OF, or AL Only leagues. That being said, if you are desperate to make up some ground in the steals category, and you play in a daily mixed league with bench spots, he may be a good option to stream on days he is actually in. Just be careful managing your lineup, you don't want him to be the cause of you losing any precious at bats this late in the season.
