ANALYSIS: Jared Dudley has had a small resurgence lately, scoring double digit points in his last three games. In 31 minutes of action on Tuesday, Dudley scored 14 points with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and four three-pointers. Clearly he's capable of filling up the stat sheet, but without the scoring his other contributions are middling at best. I will say that the consistency with his steals is a nice commodity, but it's his three-point shooting that is his bread-and-butter.
Because of his eligibility at forward and guard, and the across the board contributions, Dudley is worth adding in a lot of leagues. However, keep an eye on what happens at the trade deadline. Rumors have suggested that the Cavaliers are interested in Dudley. While this would put him on a championship caliber team, it would do major damage to Dudley's fantasy value. At this stage it is just rumor though, so don't let Dudley stay on the wire.
