ANALYSIS: Finally, after a month of play, Jamison Crowder could make it to the field and complete his debut for the Jets in 2021. And goddam, was it a fantastic presentation for the lowly Gang Green, this one. Zach Wilson & Co. grabbed the first win of the season barely edging Tennessee by three points, and the team can very well thank Crowder's day at work because he was quite the reason that was the final result.

Jamison Crowder, even playing only in 38 snaps for a 62% snap share yesterday, was able to finish just 1.0-PPR-point shy of WR1 Corey Davis--though it must be said that Davis played 20% more of the total offensive snaps. Crowder, in his first game of the year and playing under the oft-maligned rook Zach Wilson, finished with a tasty 9-7-61 receiving line and scoring his first touchdown of the year in as many matches. The 9 targets led all skill-position players of New York, and the 19.1 PPR points total instantly reminded us of how good Crowder can be.

Crowder is always going to be a nice addition for those in PPR leagues given his profile and usage (slot WR), and although his upside might be cut down a bit because of Wilson's quarterbacking and growing pains, he should turn into the rookie's safety valve going forward now that the receiver is fully available. Crowder is available in four of each five Yahoo leagues as he has been off to start the year, and I'd bet on that rostership skyrocketing sooner than you can realize. Take advantage of the opportunity while it lasts, because it shouldn't be there for long. Corey Davis has been a pleasant surprise, sure, but Crowder is as solid as they come and comes with a high floor even with a rookie QB throwing him the rock.
