ANALYSIS: After a disastrous performance against the Phillies on June 12 wherein he allowed four runs and recorded only a single out, Jameson Taillon's ERA stood at an unsightly 5.74. After Saturday's win over Boston, that has shrunk to 4.36 alongside a 1.24 WHIP and 93 strikeouts in 95 innings.
Since that blowup outing, the 29-year-old has gone 5-0 with a 2.43 ERA and 1.08 WHIP, making him a borderline top 10 SP in that time. He's also completed at least six innings four times in those six starts after only once achieving that in his first 13. Taillon appears to be rounding into form after his second Tommy John surgery and should be rostered in far more leagues.
