BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 10% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver James Washington had his best outing of the season in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns. He caught four passes for 68 yards and a touchdown in the game. He led the Steelers with seven targets, while no one else on the team had more than four.
Steelers rookie receiver Chase Claypool has clearly been the breakout player on the offense this year. He has five touchdowns over the past two weeks, but Washington has clearly established himself as a key contributor to the offense as well.Washington's 26 targets on the year are tied with Claypool for second on the team behind JuJu Smith-Schuster.
One additional player who needs to be monitored is Diontae Johnson (back), who hasn't played a full game since Week 2, when he had a team-high 13 targets. He could return as soon as Week 7 and could quickly through a wrench into the receiver pecking order. It's likely that all four of the receivers mentioned thus far will all play a part in the passing attack, it'll just be a question of how the target share is split.
Washington is worth adding in leagues of 12 teams or deeper. In Week 7, the Steelers face the Tennessee Titans, who have allowed 30 or more points in three of their past four games. Washington could be a great bye week fill-in next week as a WR3 or flex option, especially if Johnson remains out.
