ANALYSIS: We’ve gotten to the point where starting a quarterback against the Saints is just an automatic thing. The Saints are now up to a whopping 35 touchdowns allowed to six interceptions after giving up five more to Cam Newton this week. Over the last six weeks, quarterbacks have averaged an astonishing 28 fantasy points per game against this team.
Jameis Winston will have a healthy Vincent Jackson back to go along with Mike Evans in the middle of a really nice sophomore season. He also has Austin Seferian-Jenkins back, and although he was pretty quiet this week (three catches for 31 yards), that’s another weapon added. The Bucs like to limit Winston’s pass attempts if they get a lead, and that's definitely the one concern here-- we saw that come into play with Brian Hoyer against the Saints a few weeks ago. Even with this concern, though, his floor is very high. If Drew Brees can keep the Saints offense scoring, as well, the sky is the limit for Winston.
