We are in the midst of Week 4 and there are still last-minute fantasy lineup decisions to be made. Hopefully, your team is off to a nice start this week, but it will still be crucial to make the correct start 'em, sit 'em calls for the afternoon slate.
Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, and Jerome Ford are three players on the fringe of fantasy consideration. They could be fairly valuable in deeper formats, but even in shallower leagues, they should be kept in mind as emergency pivots and flex options.
Should you roll with Meyers, Tucker, or Ford this week? Let's discuss.

Should I Start Jakobi Meyers for Fantasy Football?
Jakobi Meyers has probably been underrated for fantasy purposes throughout his entire career. Just last season, his first as a Raider, he finished as the WR24 in half-PPR scoring while sharing the field with Davante Adams.
Meyers is fresh off his best showing of the season as he hauled in seven of nine targets for 62 yards and a touchdown in Week 3. He has an excellent opportunity to keep this momentum going on Sunday with Las Vegas missing its six-time Pro Bowl receiver.
Davante Adams pulled up lame in the closing minutes of the Raiders’ practice Thursday, grabbing his hamstring with an injury that is expected to sideline the star wide receiver on a week-to-week basis, per league sources.https://t.co/3zWmEkopWQ

The aforementioned Adams had earned nine targets per contest through the first three weeks as the Raiders' undisputed top wideout. Although Meyers is likely to inherit most of these vacated looks, he will have his work cut out for him against a stingy Cleveland Browns defense. Rookie sensation Malik Nabers was dominant against Cleveland last week though, so perhaps not all hope is lost.
The Raiders will be searching for their first home victory of the campaign and will need Meyers to step up in a big way to get it. He's a decent WR3 play as the WR33 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Tre Tucker for Fantasy Football?
Second-year pro Tre Tucker flashed some potential as a rookie but had his most complete performance yet against the Carolina Panthers last week.

Tucker earned nine targets in the loss, tying both Jakobi Meyers and Davante Adams for the team lead. As stated previously, Meyers should be entrusted with the role of WR1 with Adams sidelined, but Tucker stands out as an explosive, field-stretching weapon for quarterback Gardner Minshew II.
Although the Raiders are at home on Sunday, Cleveland is favored by 2.5 points. If Vegas finds itself down early, Tucker will be needed in the passing game. It is also worth noting that the Raiders currently have the worst rushing attack in the league and will likely struggle to find success on the ground against the Browns.
He doesn't have the track record to be relied upon in most fantasy lineups but Tucker could be worth a flyer in deeper leagues. He comes in as the WR58 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
Should I Start Jerome Ford for Fantasy Football?
Jerome Ford filled in admirably when the Browns lost star running back Nick Chubb to a devastating knee injury in 2023. He's been a bit quiet so far this season, but Ford is still the lead back in Cleveland.
It was somewhat surprising to see D'Onta Foreman so involved in Week 2 as the 28-year-old handled seven more touches than Ford. However, this was a contest in which Cleveland never trailed the Jaguars. Ford resumed getting the bulk of the backfield work last week.

The Raiders have surrendered the second-most fantasy points to running backs this year, presenting Ford with a favorable matchup to bounce back in. He is often utilized as a pass-catcher which gives him both a higher ceiling and floor in PPR formats.
He projects as a solid play on Sunday. We have him ranked right outside the RB2 range as the RB25 in our half-PPR consensus staff rankings.
