BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 42% of leagues
ANALYSIS: This is more of a long-term play rather than an instant-impact one, but bear with me. Most fantasy GMs will drop Poeltl because 1) LaMarcus Aldridge should return at some point "soon", and 2) the Spurs are off the schedule due to health and safety protocols and contact tracing at least until next Thursday. That's great, though, because Poeltl will be the next-man cut by those guys even when he's been a great play for San Antonio of late.
If you have room to add Poeltl and can afford to wait a few days to deploy him when he's back, you should definitely consider his addition. There are no guarantees San Antonio will hold onto Aldridge before/after the deadline, and Poeltl is making a compelling case to remain the starter as a younger player in a future-looking team.
In his six starts this month, Poeltl has averaged 29+ MPG and a 10-10-1-1-3 line. That's not bad at all, and in fact, Poeltl is putting up an above-average 1.02 FP/min since he was put in a starting role. The usage is low, and he's been unlucky in pairing double-digit points and rebounds in the same game, but he's a virtual low-maintenance double-double player with upside for more if the Spurs buy on him for good going forward. Not the worst flyer you can take, again, if you have room to spare.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
