Jake Ferguson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 4 (2024). Should you start or sit Jake Ferguson for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson caught six passes for 95 yards in his return last weekend against the Baltimore Ravens. The tight end missed the second week of the season due to a knee injury, but this did not seem serious as he returned to his normal role on Sunday.
Last season, Ferguson emerged as the lead tight end in Dallas as he caught 71 of his 102 targets for 761 yards and five scores. Even though he had a quiet game in the season opener, his bounce-back outing this past Sunday suggests Ferguson should once again be viewed as a TE1.

Fantasy managers should expect Ferguson to serve as the No. 2 pass-catching option in the Dallas offense behind CeeDee Lamb going forward. In addition, the Cowboys have had trouble finding consistency on the ground, which could force them to push the ball through the air more than they would like which would raise Ferguson's ceiling.
The 25-year-old is a safe TE1 with upside and is also worth a look in DFS contests on Thursday evening.
