BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning's first victory of the decade came last Monday as he made his second career start. The 27-year-old looked great against the Jacksonville Jaguars, completing 32 of 37 passes for 354 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. He also made plays on the ground, adding 22 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.
Browning remains in line to start at quarterback for the Bengals in Week 14, and he gets another favorable matchup in the form of the Indianapolis Colts. Browning already has a passing touchdown in each of his last three games, including one against the top-tier Ravens defense. Even as opposing defenses start to find ways to prepare for him, he has excelled.
The Colts' defense has allowed 243.2 passing yards, 1.1 passing touchdowns, and 17.6 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. Browning should capitalize on the unit, especially with playmakers like Ja'Marr Chase, Joe Mixon, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd at his disposal.
All in all, Browning has shown an impressive ability to move the Bengals' offense down the field and produce points. That should continue in Week 14 with a favorable matchup and an opportunity to gain ground in the AFC playoff hunt. Quarterback injuries have plagued managers all season long, and Browning provides much-needed relief as a strong streaming option on Sunday.
