BALLER MOVE: Start in 14-Team Formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-End WR5
ANALYSIS: Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell leads the NFL in completions, but that hasn't necessarily resulted in big numbers for his wide receivers, as he's spread the football out in a rather equitable way.
Take wide receiver Jahan Dotson, for instance. The second-year wideout has just one game with double-digit targets this season, and he's been held without a reception twice. His numbers have been all over the place, including in Week 13, when he was targeted five times, catching two passes for 23 yards.
After a brief spike in his production, the past four games have been a slog for Dotson. In that span, he's averaged 4.3 targets, 2.5 receptions, and just 24.5 receiving yards per game.
Playing in such a pass-heavy offense means that Dotson always has some fantasy upside, but his low floor prevents him from being an option in 12-team leagues. He's more of a boom-or-bust flex option in 14-team fantasy football leagues. There have been some good games, but the recent downturn in production is too much to ignore heading into this Week 15 contest against the Los Angeles Rams.
