ANALYSIS: The former Washington Commanders first-round pick, Jahan Dotson, was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in August. He is coming off a disappointing sophomore season in 2023, as he failed to make a consistent fantasy impact. Even still, he is a talented player and can be a difference-maker when given the opportunity.

While he gets a fresh start with the Eagles, the trade probably has more impact from an X and O standpoint than it does for Dotson’s fantasy value. He is, at best, the fourth receiving option for Philadelphia. Even though we should see Jalen Hurts throw the football more, it’s incredibly unlikely he supports four pass-catchers.
Sit Dotson in all leagues. He will only become fantasy-relevant if A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, or Dallas Goedert are injured at some point during the season. Dotson can be safely left out of lineups and should remain on waivers until further notice.
