BALLER MOVE: Add in 12-Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 38% of leagues
ANALYSIS: At the end of last month, from Jan. 23 to Jan. 30, Jae Crowder had his second stint as a starter for the Suns. That only lasted four games, and it was related to injury problems in the squad more than anything, so it is reasonable to find Crowder on the pine these days. No problem with it, though, as Crowder has been more than efficient coming off the bench for Phoenix.
Crowder, starting or not, is logging more than 28 minutes per game on the season. Taking only the last 10 games into account (all happening in February), Crowder has played an average of 24 MPG. In games he's been on the court 20+ minutes (8 of those 10) Crowder has played above average on a per-minute basis, putting up almost 1 FP/min while at it. Jae Crowder does it mostly on scoring (four games with 12+ pops in his last six) and has a sweet three-point stroke (at least one triple in his last nine games, with 2+ treys in six of those nine).
Since he cambe back from absence on the schedule (Feb. 10) and through Thursday, Crowder has averaged 10+ PPG, 5+ RPG, 2 APG, and almost 2 stocks. The shooting has been a little bit bouncy with an average of 48 percent from the field in that span (on 8+ FGA) but his three-pointers are dropping at a great 41% rate, something to drool at.
