BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: August
ANALYSIS: Oakland Athletics shortstop prospect Jacob Wilson opened the season with Double-A and has already reached Triple-A and has been performing exceptionally well.
The former sixth overall pick in last year's MLB Draft began the 2024 campaign with Double-A Midland and needed only 22 games to prove he was ready for the top level of the minor leagues. In those games, the 22-year-old posted a stellar .455/.473/.705 line with three home runs and 19 RBI.
Then, through his first 16 games at Triple-A, Wilson has looked just as impressive with a .435/.473/.710 line with four home runs and 12 RBI.

Wilson suffered a knee injury that kept him sidelined for just over a month shortly after joining Triple-A Las Vegas. However, since re-joining Triple-A on June 25, he has tallied at least one hit in every game with an incredible .467 AVG.
The Grand Canyon State University product is on the verge of making his major league debut but may need another handful of weeks at Triple-A to ensure he has overcome his minor injury.
